White Chocolate Salted Almonds

Delicious sweet salty combo in these tasty almonds coated into white chocolate, makes them so addictive. For this recipe you'll need only 3 ingredients and 20 minutes of time! These chocolaty almonds are great snack or even food gift if wrapped into cellophane bag!

What you'll need for this recipe:

  • White Chocolate - Use white chocolate brand you usually use for your cooking. The white chocolate melts quickly; broke the bar into pieces, place in a heatproof bowl and place over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir with spatula until the mixture is smooth and shiny.

  • Roasted salted almonds - The saltiness of almonds pairs great with sweetness of white chocolate. Use store bought or made them by yourself.

  • White pepper - A dash of this mild pepper version is a great addition to these nibbles.

Baking Sheet | Silicone Baking Mat or Baking Paper | Double Boiler | Glass Mixing Bowl | 2 Forks

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

  1. Line a baking sheet with baking paper or a silicone baking mat.

  2. Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or use the microwave. For the double boiler, place broken chocolate into a medium heat-proof bowl. Set this bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water. Stirring continuously until completely melted and smooth. Add white pepper and stir again.

  3. Stir a handful of almonds into the white chocolate, making sure to coat each one. Using two forks, lift the almonds out of the chocolate one by one or only a couple at a time, and place onto prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining almonds.

  4. Allow white chocolate to completely set. You can place the baking sheet in the refrigerator to speed it up!
